"Love is Love" crystal soaps have the most uplifting, happy, and oh-so-juicy scent with a blend of orange, cherry, peach, pineapple, and vanilla. Each bar is topped with a genuine opalite crystal, a dusting of shimmer, and organic lavender, which has historical significance representing resistance and power.

Opalite is a man-made stone from glass. Seen as a helpful catalyst in passing through trying times, opalite can help you resolve your hurts from your old wounds by letting go of the painful memories, and instead replace with compassion, kindness, peacefulness, and gentleness. This crystal is also perfect for self-love, self-acceptance, tranquility, and sexual empowerment.

Lavender's association with the LGBTQAI+ community has a complex history. In the 1930s, it was used negatively to mock gay men in America for possessing a "dash" or "streak" of lavender. However, in 1969, the color took on a new meaning of empowerment when hundreds donned lavender sashes and armbands in a march from Washington Square Park to Stonewall Inn in New York, commemorating the Stonewall Riots. This pivotal event helped pave the way for a new era of gay rights activism and the formation of numerous organizations.

Specifics

As bars are hand-cut, expect slight variations in weight, with each bar weighing approximately 4.5-5.5 oz. Keep your handcrafted soap lasting longer by allowing it to dry between uses. Crystals will vary in size and may not be the exact one pictured.

All soaps are handcrafted using the cold process method of soap making, using nourishing organic oils and butters, and moon water charged under the Full Moon. Bars are always cured for a minimum of 4 weeks for the best, long lasting bar. Learn about soap curing and why it's important here.

Botanical tops are for decoration. Should you have any concerns with botanicals and your drains, gently brush off prior to use, which is recommended regardless. Do take care when rubbing any abrasive botanicals directly on your skin or remove before use.

Due to the handmade nature and use of natural ingredients, there may be slight color/design variations from batch to batch and colors may fade over time. This does not affect the efficacy of the soap in any way.

Soap Care

Handcrafted soaps are naturally rich in glycerin. Glycerin is a humectant that attracts water to your skin. While that's wonderful for your body, it does require a little extra care of your soap.

Allow your soap to dry naturally by storing it on a draining soap dish or rack. This allows air to circulate around it and prolongs its lifespan. Keep your soap out of direct stream of water or submerged in water for too long. Unused soaps should be stored in a cool, dry place.

Ethics

All soaps are palm-free, as palm oil production has led to environmental degradation, deforestation, and habitat loss for wildlife. Organic oils and butters are always chosen for highest quality and Fair Trade whenever available.

Saponified oils and butters of olive, coconut*, cocoa*, shea,* hemp, avocado, castor seed; sodium lactate, phthalate-free fragrance oil, sweet orange peel oil, activated charcoal, ethically sourced micas, titanium dioxide, lavender buds, biodegradable glitter (corn-derived).
